I consider this goal complete when: I have bought myself a full outfit of running clothes. (ie shirt, shorts, sports bra, etc)

Why this goal is on my list: Another part of my fitness plan. If I plan to keep up with running, I’d like to have clothes to motivate me, plus it’s much more comfortable if I have clothes for the job.

076. Drink more water

I consider this goal complete when: I have consistently been drinking three water bottles full a day for two weeks.

Why this goal is on my list: I don’t drink nearly enough water, and I need to be hydrated for my fitness goals.

I consider this goal complete when: I have read Fast Track: Training and Nutrition Secrets.

Why this goal is on my list: This is a friend of mine’s favorite book in the whole world, and she’s an amazing runner, so I thought I’d check it out, and I might learn something as I’m getting in shape over the year and running more on my own instead of just part of a sport.

I consider this goal complete when: I have worked out a fitness plan that I am able to follow and that is sensible for my needs. 

Why this goal is on my list: I need to plan out my workouts to some degree, otherwise I may not follow through.

Additional notes: This may just be “go running.” Plan out, once school is out, where I can go running. Parks nearby? Something? I need to be able to take Miko.

035. Do a 5k run

I consider this goal complete when: I am capable of running five kilometres or 3.11 miles. Doesn’t have to be in a race.

Why this goal is on my list: It’s part of my fitness program. I’d like to be able to run more.

024. Complete Stage One

I consider this goal complete when: I have completed stage one of my fitness program. It should take me about thirteen weeks, or a little over three months. At the end of this time period, supposedly, I should be ready for a 5k, which is one of my goals. Woot!

Why this goal is on my list: I’ve been trying to get myself into running for a long time. Motivation, equipment, time, planning, all these have been necessary and lacking. I’m putting an end to that.

Additional notes: I’m following the 13 week running plan outlined in The Beginning Runner’s Guide. Or, it’s called something like that, anyway.
